Requirements

  • Male/Female
  • General age is 18–29 years (can adjust to job/industry policies).

  • No tattoos and no piercings (men only; following job requirements).
  • Willing to follow training and program rules until completion.

IM JAPAN

IM Japan Program (International Manpower Development Organization Japan)

Program Description

JAPAN IM PROGRAM

The IM Japan (International Manpower Development Organization Japan) program is an official job training and apprenticeship program resulting from collaboration between the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker RI) and IM Japan. This program aims to improve the competency of Indonesian human resources through vocational training, technical skills development, and direct work experience in Japan.

Through this program, participants have the opportunity to work and study in various Japanese companies while learning about work culture, discipline, technology and industrial standards applied in Japan. The IM Japan program is one of the best pathways for Indonesia's young generation who want to develop their careers and increase their competitiveness at the international level.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

In general, the requirements for the IM Japan Program are almost the same as the Sending Organization (SO) Program, with the following special provisions:

• Male
• Minimum height 160 cm
• Age according to applicable program provisions
• Physically and spiritually healthy
• Has no history of illness that could hinder program implementation
• Fulfill all specified administrative requirements

SELECTION STAGES

The IM Japan Program recruitment process uses a knockout system with strict selection standards. Each participant is required to take all of the following selection stages:

1. Administrative Selection
Inspection and verification of participant documents according to established requirements.

2. Basic Mathematics Test
Measures numeracy, basic logic and simple problem solving skills.

3. Physical Fitness and Endurance Test
Includes running tests, push-ups, sit-ups, and other physical fitness tests according to program standards.

4. Interview (Mensetsu)
Assessment of motivation, character, mental readiness and commitment of participants to take part in training programs in Japan.

5. Health Test (Medical Check-Up)
Comprehensive health examination to ensure participants meet established health standards.

6. Basic Japanese Test
Testing of basic Japanese language skills as part of pre-departure preparations.

Tokutei Ginou (TG) Mandiri

TG to work in Japan is a work visa program called Tokutei Ginou (TG) or Specified Skilled Worker (SSW), a special visa for workers.

Program Description

Tokutei Ginou (Specified Skilled Worker) is an official work visa program issued by the Japanese Government to provide opportunities for foreign workers to work directly in various companies in Japan. This program is designed to meet workforce needs in industrial sectors that experience a shortage of human resources.

Through the Tokutei Ginou program, participants can work legally by obtaining rights, facilities and wage standards that are almost equivalent to local Japanese workers, in accordance with applicable employment regulations. Apart from providing the opportunity to build an international career, this program is also a promising pathway for Indonesian workers to develop professional skills, work experience and Japanese language skills in a competitive and high standard work environment.

  • TOKUTEI GINOU 1 (SSW1)
  • Tokutei Ginou 1 (Specified Skilled Worker 1) is an official work visa program from the Japanese Government which provides opportunities for foreign workers to work in various industrial sectors in Japan in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Period of Stay
  • Maximum 5 (five) years according to Tokutei Ginou 1 (SSW1) residence permit.
  • Family
  • It is not permitted to bring family members while staying in Japan.
  • Requirements
  • • Pass the skills test according to the field of work
  • • Have Japanese language skills equivalent to JLPT N4 or equivalent
  • Job Sector
  • This program covers 16 (sixteen) priority sectors, including:
  • elderly care (kaigo), manufacturing, construction, agriculture, hospitality, food and beverage industry, and other sectors in accordance with Japanese Government regulations.
  • Job Transfer
  • It is permissible to change companies in the same SSW field or category after working for at least 1 (one) year at the first company.

Steps to Work in Japan

Follow these processes to achieve your dream.

Initial Medical Check Up

The first stage that prospective workers must go through is an initial health examination. This process aims to ensure that the basic physical and medical conditions of prospective participants meet specified health standards before proceeding to the next process.

Register with LPK DARUMA (LPK DARUMAへの登録)

After being declared healthy at the initial stage, prospective participants officially register to join the LPK DARUMA Job Training Institute

Study up to Chapter 25 or JFT A2

At this stage, participants will take part in Japanese language and culture training. The minimum learning target is to master the material up to Chapter 25 or successfully pass the Japanese language proficiency test at JFT-Basic A2 level (or equivalent).

Arranging Passport

After having language skills, participants begin to enter the international administration stage by making an official travel document, namely a passport, as an absolute requirement for going abroad.

Job Matching with Japanese Companies

The stage where the participant's profile and abilities are matched with the needs of companies in Japan. Here there will be an interview or job selection process directly with the Japanese company (user).

Complete Medical Check Up

After successfully getting a job (matching job), participants must undergo a more thorough and in-depth (comprehensive) follow-up health examination to ensure they are truly ready and medically fit to work in Japan.

Contract Signature

Participants who pass the complete health test will sign an official employment contract (job order / employment contract) with the Japanese company that accepts them.

COE Management

At this stage, the LPK and partner companies will process the COE (Certificate of Eligibility) or Certificate of Eligibility for Residence documents at Japanese immigration. This document is the main requirement for a residence permit in Japan to be approved.

Visa processing

After the COE document from Japan is issued, participants can proceed to the stage of processing a work visa at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in Indonesia so that it is legal to enter and work there.

Depart for Japan

the final stage of the entire series of processes. After all documents (Passport, COE, and Visa) are complete and ready, participants will officially fly to Japan to start their work.
